Orthros? What's an Orthros?

Though it sounds like a korny boilerplate monster from a Power Rangers episode, it's an alternate spelling of Orthrus.

From Wikipedia:
In Greek mythology, Orthrus (also called Orthros, Orthos, Orthus, Orth and Orphus) was a two-headed dog and a doublet of Cerberus, both whelped by the chthonic monster Echidna by Typhon.

Yeah... whatever he said.

In light of "MAME Machine 1.0", I felt like giving this project a name. There's power in names. Or at least that's what I heard somewhere.

I did a quick Google for two headed things, and quickly narrowed the list to Orthros, Janus, or Gemini.

Gemini seemed overboard, since some guys in Florida used that name for thier little project in the 60's.

I gave bonus points to Janus for being the God of Portals, but I had to deduct just as many for providing the word "janitor".

"Orthrus" just didn't feel natural to me, so, here we are.
